Chris White reprises Oberon!

Chris White is no stranger to the role of Oberon, having played it at his alma mater of Webster University. We couldn’t be more thrilled to have him be a part of our production- hail the Fairy King!

Chris is thrilled to play Oberon again! His first venture as the Fairy King was at Webster Conservatory in St.Louis. Chris is a member of NY Gilbert & Sullivan Players; he has performed in their City Center productions of Ruddigore and The Mikado, as well as their touring production of The Mikado. In the spring, Chris was a featured soloist in The Best of Lerner & Loewe (NY Pops at Carnegie Hall) and Midnight Frolic of 2010 (Ziegfeld Society). Favorite regional credits include Love’s Labour’s Lost, As You Like It, and The Odd Couple. Chris sends love to Virgillia, and thanks to Jesus, Rachel, Jackie and Michael for this opportunity.

Zoe Sjogerman is Starveling!

Zoe Sjogerman is a busy lady between working at New World Stages, and helping out with her own theatre company, Moses Mogilee. This summer, she stars as our Starveling- read more about her here!

Marnie Schulenburg is Hermia!

We’re thrilled to have Marnie Schulenberg playing Hermia in our production! She’s also a Daytime Emmy nominee this year for her role as Alison on As the World Turns. Read more about Marnie here!

Marnie Schulenburg (Hermia) is so excited to be able to do Shakespeare again with such a great company and director! NY theatre: The Yellowwood(NYMF), Anais Nin Goes To Hell(Fringe), The 24hr Musicals, Angel Eaters (Joann), Pretty Theft (Allegra), and many other readings with Flux Theatre Ensemble. Meet Caitlin Kinsella!

Caitlin Kinsella gets down and dirty as the fabulous Helena!

Caitlin Kinsella (Helena) a DeSales University graduate, has been active with a numbe rof companies including the Flux Theatre Ensemble (Mustardseed in “A Midsummer Nights Dream”, Caliban/Gonazalo in “The Tempest”) and Stages on the Sound (Actor One in “The Jumping Frog of Calaveras County”). Favorite past roles include Biancain “Othello”, Jessica in “The Merchant of Venice” at the Pennsylvania Shakespear eFestival and Catherine Simms in “The Foreigner” at the Arkansas Repertory Theatre.
Film and television credits include ABC’s What Would You Do? and Gossip Girl.

Doug Williford stars as Egeus!

Meet Doug Williford who plays Egeus! We are happy to work with him again!

Doug Williford (Egeus) is happy to be working/playing with On The Square again, having read the part of Henry in their reading of Mirabelle or Mirabel in January. He was most recently seen onstage in T Schreiber Studio’s Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead. Some of Doug’s favorite regional theatre productions include Just A Kiss (world premiere), 5 Course Love, Barefoot Boy With Shoes On, Streamers, The Normal Heart, The Rocky Horror Show, Blood Brothers, and Falsettos. He can be seen in the upcoming feature film Love and Other Impossible Pursuits. Doug can be seen on One Life To Live in the recurring role of Judge Miller. Other TV roles include Mark Fabiani in the HBO film Recount and a confused front desk clerk on As The World Turns. Doug has appeared in numerous independent films and has been featured in many national and regional commercial spots.

Blair Silverman Fairies it Up!

Blair Silverman is thrilled to be returning the stage while she is taking some time off to pursue her master’s. Blair fell in love with the theatre at a young age. Some of her favorite roles include Miss Julie in Miss Julie, Viola in Twelth Night, Helena and Titania in Midsummer and Rosalind in As you Like it. She wants to thank On the Square Productions for including her in this fabulous production!

Joie Bauer is Theseus!

It’s good to be King- just ask Joie Bauer, who stars as Theseus in our production!

Joie Bauer (Theseus) is a classically trained actor with a BFA in acting from the University of South Dakota. Recent New York credits include: The Glass House with Harris Yulin (The Clurman at Theatre Row), They Call Him Young Lou (The Cherry Pit) and West Lethargy (59E59 St. Theatre / Edinburgh Fringe).
